Day 5: Strengthening Capacity in Planning, Research & Statistics
Day 5 of our ongoing Capacity Development Training for officers of the Planning, Research and Statistics Department of the Office of Education Quality Assurance was another important step in strengthening the professional capacity of our workforce.
I had the privilege of delivering the opening remarks, where I emphasised the strategic importance of Planning, Research and Statistics in driving evidence-based decision-making, effective planning, credible data management and continuous improvement in education quality assurance.
I encouraged participants to approach the training with an open mind, actively engage with the sessions and translate the knowledge gained into practical improvements in our operations.
As an organisation committed to excellence, we must continue to invest in our people, strengthen our systems and ensure that our decisions and interventions are guided by reliable data, sound research and professional standards.
Together, we are building a stronger, more efficient and responsive education quality assurance system for Lagos State.
