LASG SET TO SENSITIZE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ON PREVENTION & MANAGEMENT OF COVID-19.

In line with the State Government’s directives on strict adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols in schools, the Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) is set to sensitize educational institutions below tertiary level on guidelines for the prevention and management of COVID-19.

The virtual training is to equip the leadership of the institutions with preventive measures and management of Corona Virus. It is also to provide checklist for the evaluation of all hygiene, health and safety protocols in schools.

While affirming the position of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the adoption, continuous sensitization and adherence to preventive measures of COVID-19 infection in schools, the collaboration between the Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance and the State Ministry of Health will improve new knowledge on safe school while ensuring that teaching and learning continues in the State without any hindrance.

The sensitization workshop for the prevention and management of COVID-19 is scheduled for Friday 17th December, 2021 by 11am on zoom link: .http://bit.ly/31085BU

School administrators of both public and private schools are enjoined to participate.
