NOTIFICATION FOR MAY 2025 NATIONAL IMMUNISATION PLUS DAYS (NIPDs) in LAGOS STATE

I am directed to notify you that the Lagos State Government collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and key development partners will be implementing National Immunization Plus Days (NIPDs) in the State.

The campaign aims to vaccinate all children aged 0 – 5 years with 2 drops of the oral polio vaccine, regardless of their previous vaccination status to prevent poliomyelitis that may result in paralysis of the limbs or death.

Given the above, please be informed that the vaccination teams will be visiting all schools and other places as scheduled below:

  • Date: Saturday 3rd – Wednesday 7th May, 2025
  • Time: 8:00 am Daily
  • Eligible Age: 0 – 5 years

To this end, you are kindly enjoined to get parental consent and also accord the vaccination teams all the necessary support for a smooth conduct of the exercise.
