SCHOOL APPROVAL FAQs

Most frequent questions and answers

Name search is a process where a proposed school name is checked in the Office database to confirm its availability or otherwise. This is to ensure that two schools do not bear the same name.

Name search was cancelled in the last quarter of 2021 to ease the process of school registration. The process of name search is merged with site inspection and currently referred to as school pre-registration process.

The letters issued for name search are no more relevant or tenable as a formal letter of approval from Lagos State Government.
