PROFILE OF MRS FABAMBI FATIMA FALAYI
Director Planning Research and Statistics

Mrs Fabambi Falayi, a resourceful teacher, evaluator, and administrator. She attended the University of Ilorin for her Bachelor of Arts (B.A Hons) Degree in History (1986), while for her post-graduate studies, she was at University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos, where she secured the Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) 1998 and Masters in Education Administration and
Management (M.ED) 2012.

She commenced her working career with the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission in October 1990 as a classroom teacher. She taught in various schools for thirteen years and served in various capacities as Subject Teacher, Year tutor, Head of Department and member of various Committees within the School System. In 2003, she was deployed back to Teachers
Establishment and Pensions Office (now TESCOM ) Personnel Department, Disciplinary Unit.
She became a Quality Assurance Evaluator in 2015 with the creation of the Office of Education Quality Assurance and served in various capacities within the Agency as evaluator, Team lead, Reader , Zonal Director and presently the Director Planning Research and Statistics. She attended various seminars, workshops and in-house trainings to ensure improvement in quality
service delivery which has resulted in greater improvement in learners’ outcomes and teachers’ pedagogical skills in line with the 21 st century teaching.

In recognition of her selfless service, diligence to duty and exemplary behavior, she was awarded the Best Senior Staff Inspectorate award in Ikeja Zone of Education District VI in the year 2007.
She was also awarded the 2nd Best Quality Assurance Officer Senior Staff Category in the year 2017.
She is married with children.
